Unique Balkan Singer: Emir Đulović

Balkan music is one of the unique musics in the world. These small countries of Europe host singers who have great talent. One of them is Emir Đulović from Bosnia & Herzegovina. Emir Đulović is one of the most popular names of Balkan music in recent years.

Emir Đulović was born on March 7, 1988, in Tuzla, Bosnia & Herzegovina. He finished primary and secondary music school in Tuzla, then enrolled in music school in Mostar. Even in his early childhood, he was shown as a great musical talent and attended KUD, where he was the youngest performer. At the age of 15, he applied to OBN Folk Talents, where he gained great popularity, and won the contest. Shortly after, he released her debut album “Srebreno jutro” with Nazif Gljiva, which was produced by Public Service BHT.

In 2004, he won the Bosnia and Herzegovina Music Oscar in three categories:

  • Golden Star
  • Discovery of the year,
  • The hit of the year for the song “Sarajevo”

Moreover, in 2005, he won the BiH Music Oscar for the album with the highest circulation.

After being so successful at the beginning of his career, he didn’t stop to produce. Also, after his 2014 album, he became a regionally recognized singer.

After 2018

Emir Đulović, who has focused on singles since 2018, reached another point in his career with the song Cipele and released the song in Bosnian, Serbian, and Croatian in three languages. He continued his debut with the song “Svadba”. In 2020, he added a new success to his career with the song “Gipsy Dance”. After Emir Đulović announced that he would release a new album in 2021, the audience began to wait for the new album with great enthusiasm.

On the other hand, Emir Đulović is very humble, enjoys more sports and self-interest in his personal life.

“I just try to be professional in my job. I have been humble from the beginning of my career and I am very happy about it. I’m glad neither money nor fame has changed me. I am still a man who has never tried alcohol, I do not even smoke, I am a person who believes enough to respect and appreciate all religions and nations. “My parents and the environment in which I grew up affected me above all to be human.”
